Our Team
Ruthi Edery
Ruthi founded Kelim Shonim in her backyard in Herzliya after making Aliyah and realizing there was nothing quite like it—an anglo-friendly pottery studio rooted in warmth, creativity, and connection.
Deeply in love with clay and the process itself, Ruthi is passionate about sharing pottery as a way to slow down, connect inward, and build community. Kelim Shonim is a women-led, welcoming space where Anglos and Israelis alike come to create, learn, and feel at home.
Shelly Aviram
Shelly began her journey at Kelim Shonim as a weekly member, gradually discovering a deep love for ceramics through patience, practice, and support. Today, she leads the same weekly sessions she was once a part of, and finds great joy in guiding others with the care and encouragement she once received herself.
